Mexicans gave us the world.

The questions are: what kind of Mexican we could be given the world? and what gave those "Mexicans" to our nation? According to the conference by Delia Salazar Anaya, author of books and xenophilia Xenophobia in Mexico City. nineteenth and twentieth century (2007) and pictures of immigrants in Mexico City (1753-1910) (2008), Faculty of Political and Social Science, those Mexicans are foreigners who came from the world for some reason came to Mexico, stayed on it and mixed, or otherwise worked for a while and returned to their countries of origin without a trace in Mexico.
From my point of view, I can be divided into three groups for all those foreigners who arrived in Mexico: first, a group of immigrants who came to work in construction or engineering, or developed in professional and business aspects, to their own style investing large amounts of money and having successful business left them more profit. This group does not necessarily moved to Mexico permanently, although it was to relate to people, not necessarily stuck. Within the above consider
to: American, British, Irish, Canadian, Swedish, German and Japanese. Several foreigners from these countries came as engineers or contractors, as employers, as workers for the country's electricity system, to develop communications (eg the installation of telephones or railway construction), as masters and pioneers in industries such as pharmaceuticals of weapons, the beer and glass in addition to being owners, not workers, coffee, fishing and trading houses.
The second group consists of foreigners who first settled in Mexico and, secondly, no necessarily come with expectations of success and investment (although some do come to find) but rather as ordinary workers escape from reality (poverty or guerrillas) in their countries of origin. Such is the case of English, French, Italian, Lebanese, Mennonites, and Jews and exiles or refugees.
Among the contributions and activities that the second group gave the country are: buying and selling of products, textile industry, banks and schools training, clothing stores, work in agricultural colonies, trade, processing of dairy products, and medical contributions thoughts and ideologies and revolutionary change (mainly by refugees and exiles).
And in the third group are those aliens who were brought to Mexico (or by other groups of Mexican immigrants and wealthy) as slaves or workers for cheap labor, whose fate was discrimination on the part of our country. This group includes blacks (brought from Africa), the Guatemalan and Chinese.
regard to blacks, since the colonial era were brought to America to perform heavy labor in farms, crops and mines was always social position of inferiority (including goods were sold and recorded as cattle) and their beliefs were minimized to witchcraft. The case of Guatemala is less extreme, they dedicated themselves to be servants and farmers to harvest coffee.
The issue of the Chinese is very peculiar, as well as being brought to Mexico to work on crops, mines, as servants and cooks, were linked (in revolutionary times and to your senses Lázaro Cárdenas) with unhygienic and harmful practices for society as players, drug dealers and carriers of diseases such as beriberi and scabies, ugly and unsuitable physically or intelligent, ambitious, dirty, cowardly (to continuously kill aspects of honor), and destroyers of love families through polygamy, according to researcher and author Jorge Gómez Izquierdo.
The same investigator at the Institute of Social Research, acknowledged that there was even a process of killing, abuse and expulsion against the Chinese during the government of Alvaro Obregon and Plutarco Elias Calles under the slogan "united deschinatizaremos to Mexico," moreover, health committees were pro race.
This situation has now changed, but now continues through negative propaganda media, making mockery of China intelligence as was the case with TV Azteca and its short during the Olympic games in China, or linked to promiscuity (being the second nation to consume more condoms) and production of toxic toys. In addition, they are considered a threat to Mexican handicrafts and are responsible for unemployment in Mexico.
As we can see, the Chinese have followed up in our country like the stereotype that has been created about them. As for the other foreigners, I believe that not only resonated with the times when they first set foot in Mexico, but continue their development and interaction with the Mexicans, perhaps because of it not so deeply, but with constant cultural exchange como por ejemplo: a través de las escuelas de arte o lenguas, la comida, palabras, la vestimenta, música y el comercio.
Quizá podrán entrar Lebanese, Mennonites and Jews, mostly for economic success they have had, however, think that the average Mexican is not aware of these groups and dismisses them.
The second group would consist of all Mexican foreign regarded as inferior to him, as is the case of Central Americans and some South American (consider in this area to Guatemalans and above), the Chinese and of course, the Blacks reaching the poor humans considered "forgotten by the hand of God."
I think more than locate the source and impact of many years, foreigners in Mexico, would interesting and useful to know the current contributions that have made the country, not just on the works and products, but also intercultural relations, how this has greatly affected the daily life of the average Mexican. Also, I think it would be worthwhile to know what image Mexicans have of foreigners residing in Mexico and have contributed something, because they are two different things reality and the belief that it has on them.
Finally, I also would like to know why Mexicans have given the world, ie what are the contributions of the country towards other nations. Perhaps this is no longer appropriate to the subject, as I understand it goes on construction of an identity of Mexicans know ourselves a mixture of different nations and backgrounds through the historical process, however, I think is valuable to know how Mexico has contributed to others.
